Divers Comment of Lumbalumba Diving
Manado
"Wholeheartedly we hopped from day to day and dive to dive. Though neither sunrise (6 o'clock) nor sunset (5.50 pm) can be seen from our aeries the plenitude of all the happenings in between fully compensates for this lack of astronomical phenomenon's. These twelve hours embrace a hearty breakfast accompanied by J. S. Bach, G. F. Händel and the like, a Prussian punctiliousness at departure time, meeting the dive-staff in excellent humour (do you remember the row of white teeth of one of them?), the excitement and confusion before the dives, the innumerable dives, the joyous countenance of the emerging mates, the salute of the welcoming committee at the jetty, and the lift up to our chalets. We fully agree with and support our predecessors' enthusiasm for the copious and delicious dinners of immense variety. With Louis and Ella.
If, by any chance, you manage to celebrate your anniversary together with Roel and Juud, do it! But: BYO! Pedro's cake was marvellous!
Be careful if you take a day off, at home so to say, the chairs on your balcony, Roel forgive me, are abominable……. And all this magnificent service can be enjoyed for just above 10 millions per person per fortnight.
We, i.e. 8 (eight) Swiss highlanders, no other guests being on the spot, were spoiled, indeed.
We crave for a comeback the sooner the better. Please, save those amazing giant mango trees."
